Kangana Ranaut Early Life and Education
Kangana Ranaut started studying at DAV School in Chandigarh, where she studied science and was noted for being very contemplative. She initially intended to become a doctor, and her parents encouraged her to do so. After failing a chemistry unit test in 12th grade, Kangana Ranaut had to reevaluate her career options despite studying for the All-India Pre-Medical Test.

The actress made her feature film debut in the 2006 film Gangster, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She then played leading roles in the films Life in a Metro, Woh Lamhe and Fashion. She also appeared in Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Raaz – The Mystery Continues. Her comedic role in Tanu Weds Manu was well received at the Indian box office.
